Virgin Australia was the primary sponsor of Australian Tourism Exchange and wanted to make an epic statement at the final closing party.
The result was a real-life flight map that spanned the entire 30 metre space. Overhead arcs of LEDs linked illuminated bases representing each major Australian destination, onto which we mapped 24 hours of real flight data in a one-hour animation. Light pulses traveled from city to city in a spectacular display demonstrating the expanse of the Virgin Australia flight network.
