Having once being seen as innovative retail pioneers, eBay was losing traction amongst Australians who were beginning to perceive it as an outdated, second-hand auction house.
To counter this, we partnered with MYER and created the world’s first Virtual Reality Department Store, catapulting eBay back to its place at the forefront of retail innovation.
The campaign garnered over 780,000,000 media impressions, $45million in earned media, tens of millions in subsequent retailer partnership deals, as well as a heap of awards.
